A Bit About Your First Lady
An evangelist, wife, and accomplished young professional in the field of Mental Health. Born and raised in in the Kansas City region where she graduated from F. L. Schlagle High School. Groce earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Lincoln University of Missouri in Jefferson City. While working on her Undergrad, she married the love of her life, Dr. Jason Groce in 2010.
Upon graduation, Groce began a career in the field of Mental Health. In 2016, Missionary Groce received her Master’s Degree in Education, with a concentration in Agency Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, she has experience in a variety of areas such as: Substance Abuse Counseling, Co-occurring, Trauma, Grief, and as well as many other areas. Missionary Groce is active in her local community, serving as a Board Member of Hope for Caribbean Kids Inc., and previous member of Pregnancy Help Center. It is my goal that through therapy I will be able to help you overcome any struggles that you may be facing in your life's journey right now.
The counseling approaches I use are mindfulness based, because I truly believe that once we get out of our head and into our lives we will not just survive but we will start to thrive. It takes time and support to make a sustainable change that will impact lives.
So I am here to walk through this journey with you for a better tomorrow.

Since 2010 Missionary Groce has served in several positions in ministry. First as the Youth District Chairlady of the Sedalia District in Missouri Western Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. In addition Missionary Groce serves as the Praise and Worship Leader at the Jefferson City Church of God in Christ.
In 2014 Courtney Groce was licensed a Deaconess Missionary in the Jefferson City Church of God in Christ, and in 2018 received her Official Deaconess Missionary designation from the Church of God in Christ.
In 2021 Deaconess Missionary was elevated and licensed as an Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ, Inc.
